Some notes about Happiness / From Psycho-cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz

- Happiness can not be made contingent on solving some external problem. It comes from within, irrespective of the environment.

- We react to frustrations with resentment, irritability, self pity, etc out of habit. Much of this habitual unhappiness is taking things personally, that are not personal at all. Stop letting things push you around.

- Don’t act as a slave to external circumstances, be a master of your own state.

«  Men are disturbed not by the things that happen, but by their opinion of the things that happen ».
